Productive with posters (285 out of 365) #blogaday

I had some time to get a few posters ready that I want to use during the Fall unit, and I really felt productive! I made one with a song about leaves falling as well as one about investigating pumpkins – they were color-coded for Fall and had drawings of leaves or pumpkins. I am quite proud to teach the students the song and lead the discussion about our pumpkins 🙂 They will be on the wall and my webpage for the whole unit!

Decorating with Die Cutter (201 out of 365) #blogaday

Die Cutters are very beneficial tools for making posters and various signs. This one will make designing much simpler! It makes the creative design you want, rather than just letters and the odd shape. I’m glad teachers have something like this to use 🙂

Fundamentals of friendship (155 out of 365) #blogaday

teaching friends postThis poster seems like a great idea! At the interviews I have recently been to, there were various questions about conflict resolution, and breaking down “what friends do” in a visual way will help students be able to fix their issues without teacher assistance. Having something to refer to when fighting occurs lets children be accountable for their actions, and know when they are not being a good friend.
